"Magic Mirrors came about through British Jazz impresario John Cumming, and was actually recorded by Jez Nelson on his portable DAT recorder. It features some quite nauseating samples from Pier Paolo Pasolini’s notorious film, Salo, coupled with Miles Davis’s most well-known version of ‘Round Midnight and George Crumb’s Black Angels, for amplified string quartet."
